Vidya Balan a famous glamorous Indian actress born on 1st January 1978 appears in the Bollywood film industry. She was born in a Tamil family in Palakkad, Keral. Her father R.P.Balan is a ETC TV channel Vice President and her mother is a house wife. She has an elder Sister named Priya Balan. She completed her schooling at St.Anthony's school and completed her Post Graduation at University of Mumbai. At the time of Studying she got her first film offer.
Vidya Balan's acting career started when she was signed to appear in the Chakram a malayalam movie with Famour Malayalam Actor Mohanlal, but the film was flop at box office. She turned into TV Commercial Ads and music albums. She performed many TV commercial ads. In the year 2003 she was appeared in a Bengali Film Bhalo Theko, for that she got Anandlok Puraskar Best Actress Award.
