Vidya Balan's acting career started when she was signed to appear in the Chakram a malayalam movie with Famour Malayalam Actor Mohanlal, but the film was flop at box office. She turned into TV Commercial Ads and music albums. She performed many TV commercial ads. In the year 2003 she was appeared in a Bengali Film Bhalo Theko, for that she got Anandlok Puraskar Best Actress Award. After that she made her a Hindi film Parineeta. with that film She got good name in the Bollywood film industry and got Filmfare Best Female Debut Award and also nominated for Filmfare Best Actress Award.
